We are seeking a detail oriented and collaborative Event Booking Specialist to join the team at the Pappas Restaurants Main Office in Northwest Houston. The Event Booking Specialist will serve as a Pappas brand ambassador for potential banquet guests. They will eagerly and professionally communicate private event options, availability, and coordinate event details in coordination with the restaurant
Responsibilities
- Fulfills incoming inquiry calls and emails for assigned locations.
- Completes all leads and event tasks using booking system and procedures.
- Manages all events for assigned locations.
- Schedules reservations using the seating system for your assigned locations.
- Ensures all phone or website inquiries are followed up with accurately, and in a timely and professional manner.
- Builds strong and lasting relationships and takes responsibility for all guests.
- Communicates effectively with restaurant managers (and GMs) to ensure successful events.
- Uses suggestive selling techniques and upsell to meet and exceed Guest expectations.
- Fulfills incoming inquiry calls and emails for assigned locations.
- Completes other tasks and special projects as assigned.
