We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. ### Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage options
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Enter orders into the POS system accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and addressing any concerns or issues promptly
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and accurate order delivery
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
### Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
- Basic culinary knowledge to answer guest questions about ingredients or preparation methods
- Exceptional guest relations skills to provide personalized service and address guest needs
- Familiarity with food service regulations and best practices for food handling
- Proficiency in using the Aloha POS system is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with both front-of-house and back-of-house staff
Must be 18 and over, reliable transportation and able to work afternoons to evenings and Saturdays
