Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our dining environment. Duties:
- Take customers' food and drink orders.
- Pour and serve wine, beer, and other drinks.
- Mix drinks according to recipes.
- Check customers' identification to ensure that they are of legal drinking age.
- Clean bars, tables, and work areas.
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment, ensuring they are spotless and ready for the next meal service.
- Assist with food preparation and cooking tasks as needed, including prepping ingredients, portioning meals, and operating kitchen equipment.
- Manage the dining area, including clearing tables, taking orders, and handling customer payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience.
- Monitor food safety and handling practices, adhering to the highest standards to ensure the health and well-being of our guests.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and server teams to ensure seamless meal service.
- Perform basic math calculations when handling cash or operating a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and be able to make recommendations to guests.
- Handle cash and operate a cash register with precision and accuracy.
- Assist with catering events and special occasions as needed.
Requirements:
