Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience using ADP Workforce Now highly preferred or other enterprise-level payroll software
- Minimum 4 years of experience in payroll systems and analysis
- Strong report-building skills utilizing payroll software and Excel
- Deep knowledge of state and federal payroll and tax regulations
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (preferred)
- Strong finance skills, analytical problem-solving ability, and solid business acumen
- Passion for using data to drive better decision-making and connecting operational metrics with financial results
- Familiarity with payroll compliance reporting such as 5500, 401K & match, and workers comp
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (with ability to analyze data using formulas)
- Independent, proactive, and creative approach to problem solving
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage simultaneous assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Prepare compliance report workbooks for review by Sr. Payroll Manager
- Manage state tax registrations and ongoing maintenance
- Support payroll processing as needed
- Maintain documentation of payroll processes
- Provide ad-hoc analytics for payroll-related business analysis
- Support project management during implementation of payroll efficiencies
- Contribute to payroll system maintenance, testing, and improvements
- Collaborate with employees and payroll administrators to resolve complex payroll matters
