Aerospace Manufacturing Process Lead
Parabilis Space Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Aerospace Manufacturing Process Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing efficient and effective manufacturing processes for our space propulsion systems. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes for our space propulsion systems.
- Collaborating with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of components and systems.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during daily assembly, integration, and environmental testing activities.
- Developing and maintaining detailed work instructions, process flow diagrams, and test procedures for manufacturing operations.
- Leading the effort to lay out and build up a facility for AI&T of Parabilis propulsion systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering within the aerospace industry, with expertise in assembly, integration, and acceptance/qualification testing of space systems.
- Familiarity with writing clear processes/procedures and identifying deviations.
- Relevant experience with fluid systems, including tube bending and routing, component selection, P&IDs, and PHAs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to overcome challenges.
