Space Technology Production Director
Parabilis Space Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Space Technology Production Director to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of our space technology products, including spacecraft assembly and integration. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of the production process, including spacecraft assembly and integration.
- Collaboration with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of components and systems.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during daily assembly, integration, and environmental testing activities.
- Development of detailed work instructions, process flow diagrams, and test procedures for manufacturing operations.
- Leading the effort to develop and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering within the aerospace industry, with expertise in assembly, integration, and acceptance/qualification testing of space systems.
- Familiarity with writing clear processes/procedures and identifying deviations.
- Relevant experience with fluid systems, including tube bending and routing, component selection, P&IDs, and PHAs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to overcome challenges.
