Operations Supervisor

Position Summary : As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring high levels of service in all managed locations for current and prospective customers. As an integral member of leadership, your team will rely upon your talents and abilities to foster an efficient and safety-first culture.
Reporting to the Regional Area Manager – Shirley & Riverhead you will take ownership of daily operations execution in the respective locations, including customer service, plant maintenance / up keep, vehicle maintenance, ride along with employees, and employee training. Key responsibilities and essential job duties include but not be limited to :
- Own execution and adherence to standards for all branch processes.
- Supervision of Dock / Yard Employees through coaching and development conversations; ensuring a commitment to being a world-class leader in safety and responsibility.
- Execute Customer Deliveries / Installations as needed to support Branch Initiatives
- Support After Hour Customer Communication
- Work in direct consultation with Regional Area Manager and Organizational Leadership to build developmental programs with defined career paths for advancement.
- Support the Regional Area Manager with leading safety meetings.
- Uphold frontline employee safety through the regulation of safety policy compliance, behaviors, and the identification and execution of improvement opportunities.
- Assist with accident and injury investigations, work with the Regional Area Manager in building pro-active safety measures.
- Assist with facility management including facility appearance while ensuring safety compliance.
Desired skills and experience :
Class B CDL (with no air brake restrictions) is required.
Endorsement (N) Tank Vehicle is required.
