Duties and Responsibilities:
- Exceed First Class Service standards with every interaction, ensuring a positive experience for customers, business partners, and peers.
- Perform all register operations, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures, and ensure Loss Prevention measures are in place.
- Lead opening and closing procedures for all stores, guaranteeing seamless transitions.
- Direct the replenishment of merchandise and supplies, maintaining stockroom organization and participating in receiving functions.
- Ensure consistent execution of store merchandising standards, adhering to company guidelines.
- Coordinate and monitor staffing levels to maximize sales and service potential.
- Achieve sales goals by implementing promotional programs, executing special events, and adhering to company performance metrics.
- Direct, coach, and train Associates in their daily job assignments, promoting growth and development.
- Represent the company by fostering strong relationships within the airport community, driving business success.
- Contribute feedback on Associate reviews and provide input on counseling sessions.
Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 day environment, with a minimum of 45 hours per week (including 5 hours OT).
- Excellent customer service skills and proficiency in the English language.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate others and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Self-starter able to adapt to unexpected situations, demonstrating resilience and flexibility.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, mathematics, cash handling, and reporting.
- Computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Office are preferred.
- Ability to pass the Federal Criminal History Records Check, Paradies Background Check, and applicable Department of Transportation requirements.
- Standing for extended periods, working in varying temperatures, and lifting a minimum of 40 lbs. are essential duties.
- The ability to perform essential job functions, including standing, bending, reaching, climbing a ladder, and walking long distances, is also required.
