The Business Office Manager’s main purpose is to support the company’s operations by maintaining office systems and supporting staff.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the accuracy of billing, AP, and AR.
- Support and manage staff scheduling.
- Support training and onboarding of new staff.
- Ability to navigate software systems for : scheduling, billing, AR, report generation and overall knowledge of the financial system.
- Ability to navigate and produce reports in QuickBooks or similar software.
- Provide direct care in the field if needed.
- Take inquiry calls and manage complaints from residents and families.
- Provides historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
- Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments.
- Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.
- Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends and assist with budget management.
- Achieves financial objectives by assisting in annual budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Scan and input invoices for payment and run monthly billing statements.
- Other duties as assigned or needed.
