The Business Office Manager’s main purpose is to support the company’s operations by maintaining office systems and supporting staff.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the accuracy of billing, AP, and AR.
  • Support and manage staff scheduling.
  • Support training and onboarding of new staff.
  • Ability to navigate software systems for : scheduling, billing, AR, report generation and overall knowledge of the financial system.
  • Ability to navigate and produce reports in QuickBooks or similar software.
  • Provide direct care in the field if needed.
  • Take inquiry calls and manage complaints from residents and families.
  • Provides historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
  • Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments.
  • Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.
  • Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends and assist with budget management.
  • Achieves financial objectives by assisting in annual budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Scan and input invoices for payment and run monthly billing statements.
  • Other duties as assigned or needed.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / LICENSURE- CERTIFICATION

  • PREFERRED : College Degree
  • Experience in Human Resources or related field OR minimum of 2 years’ experience in a HIGH-VOLUME work environment.
  • 2 years staffing experience. 2 years of experience as business office manager in assisted living preferred.
