Paradigm Healthcare is seeking a seasoned LVN or RN to join our team as the Regional Quality Assurance Nurse!

Education and Training:
- Develop and deliver educational programs, workshops, and training sessions for nursing staff to enhance their clinical skills, knowledge of best practices, and adherence to facility policies and protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and update training materials, ensuring they align with current regulations, evidence-based practices, and resident needs.
- Utilize various teaching methods, such as lectures, hands-on demonstrations, simulations, and online learning platforms to facilitate effective learning.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to monitor the overall care delivery, resident safety, and regulatory compliance within the facility.
- Conduct regular audits, assessments, and chart reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to established standards of care.
- Analyze data and trends to identify patterns, potential risks, and opportunities for performance enhancement.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop action plans addressing identified areas of concern and ensuring quality improvement initiatives are implemented.
Performance Evaluation:
- Develop and implement systems for evaluating the competence and performance of nursing staff, including conducting competency assessments, skills check-offs, and performance appraisals.
- Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and mentoring to nursing staff to support their professional growth and development.
- Identify opportunities for further training and development based on individual and collective performance evaluations.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay current with state and federal regulations, industry guidelines, and best practices related to long-term care nursing and quality assurance.
- Ensure the facility's nursing practices and educational programs remain in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing leadership, human resources, and administration, to align quality improvement efforts and educational initiatives.
- Foster open communication channels between nursing staff, leadership, and residents' families to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure a collaborative approach to resident care.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse in the State
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred
- 2 years’ experience in a Supervisor role in healthcare, Long-Term Care experience preferred.
- Minimum six (6) months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to nursing facility administration

Salary : $35 - $40
