Job description
This position requires the individual to assist in the team efforts of a busy Quality Fulfillment Services department by effectively operating fulfillment machinery. The successful candidate must demonstrate the capacity to run machinery and also consistently detect, communicate, and / or repair data or production quality variations in tandem with the ability to read, identify and match names and / or other personalized data across multiple materials. Team and individual metrics are based in the endeavor to eliminate all errors from leaving the building.

Duties
- Read sales orders or access internal data stores to determine material or setup requirements per job.
- Safely and effectively operate one or more fulfillment machines for daily on-time production of 25,000 or more documents.
- Set-up, operate, break down, and perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
- Troubleshoot technical or mechanical issues on fulfillment machinery.
- Perform light mechanical repairs on fulfillment machinery.
- Prepare and apply address labels, decals, and / or postage to envelopes and parcels.
- Read, identify, or match personalized information across multiple documents.
- Assemble, sleeve, or stuff documents into personalized envelopes for fulfillment.
- Inspect finished documents to identify data and / or postage to envelopes for fulfillment.
- Remove / Repair material defects where possible.
- Alert supervisors of potential or actual data or materials issues.
- Submit document data errors for correction and request data research and redo.
- Assist with packing and shipping of outgoing documents.
- Assist with processing of outgoing mail.
- Weigh products to verify packaging weights for mailing purposes.
Requirements
Minimum of High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.Must demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform light repairs on industrial machinery.Reliable and dependable transportation for timely work attendance required.Physically able to push / pull / lift / carry supplies and various works in progress of at least 50 pounds.Physically able to bend / kneel / walk / stand, in tandem with cart, stepstools or rolling ladders, to access supplies and various works in progress or other materials as needed in storage rooms or production areas.General Expectations
Ability or demonstrable proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, and Excel) as needed for completion of daily tasks, internal communication, and / or reporting.Ability to quickly learn and appropriately utilize internal applications and knowledge bases as needed for timely completion of daily tasks.Ability to read, process and follow written directions and procedures.Ability to begin, continue, or find work without needing to be told or encouraged to do so.Can stand and work for long periods of time while maintaining attention and concentration.Ability to maintain focus and concentration for long periods of time on computer- (seated) and machine-related (standing) tasks.Ability to maintain routine and predictability in dynamic and open manufacturing warehouse environment.Ability to prioritize, accomplish goals within set timeframes, and maintain required metrics as per job specifications.Ability to work in concert with a team or independently, with or without direct supervision / guidance as needed.Ability to self-manage and multi-task while making fact-based or historically valid and justifiable decisions.Ability to assist, support, or work in close and harmonious relationships with all inter- and intra-departmental personnel as needed or requested.Good vision, with or without corrective lenses, in order to sustain adequate visual focus over a period of time,Fine motor skills, including, but not limited to, the full, complete use of and muscle control required to make precise hand movements, relative to tasks requiring hand-eye coordination, muscle coordination and dexterity.Ability to consistently comply with established procedures, rules and regulations.Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area as per company and / or OSHA Standards.Candidates must be willing and able to work mandatory overtime during seasonal peaks of business. This may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed, to meet operational demands and ensure timely completion of business objectives.Compensation and Benefits
