This position entails the individual to collaborate in the day-to-day functions of all Production and Manufacturing departments effectively diagnosing, repairing, and providing preventative maintenance services for equipment & machinery in an organizing and efficient manner to achieve the company safety, productivity, and quality standards.

Duties
Inspects and identifies equipment, machines, or facilities in need of repair.Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.Plans repair work using building’s blueprints or equipment manual as needed.Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician.Performs routine maintenance on machinery and building systems.Performs basic fabrication of building and machinery components.Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.Submits requests for supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.Picks up and / or delivers parts and supplies from / to local vendors.Assist with all other tasks as assigned, requested, or necessitated.Requirements
Minimum of High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.Must demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.2 years experience in mechanical or maintenance related position required.Valid driver’s license required for transporting product.Moderate understanding of basic electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems is required with a high competency in at least one area preferred.Basic TIG / MIG welding skills are a plus.Ability to do basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, decimals, etc.)Ability to read imperial and metric tape measures / rulers.Physically able to stand for long periods of time.Physically able to push / pull / lift / carry supplies and various works in progress of at least 35-50 pounds.Physically able to bend / kneel / walk / stand, in tandem with cart, stepstools or rolling ladders, to access supplies and various works in progress or other materials as needed in storage rooms or production areas.Fine motor skills, including, but not limited to, the full, complete use of and muscle control required to make precise hand movements, relative to tasks requiring hand-eye coordination, muscle coordination and dexterity.General Expectations
