Job Description
- Experience in Unix System administration;
- Experience supporting 24 hour, 7 day operations;
- Experience in installation of z / VM through 6.6 on dual IBM 2098s with multiple LPARS;
- Experience in installation of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 8 through 11.3 running as z / VM Guests;
- Experience in installation of RedHat Linux Server 6.3 through 6.5 running as z / VM Guests;
- Experience in coding REXX scripts to automate the backups of z / VM and z / Linux operating systems;
- Experience with TCP / IP configuration and the implementation of SMTP, FTP, TN3270, and web services in z / OS, z / VM, and z / Linux environments;
- Experience with SMP / E installation and maintenance for a variety of program products;
- Experience with planning, implementation, and configuration of the Open Systems Adapter-Express Integrated Console Controller (OSA-ICC) function in System Z.
