Warehouse Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for storage, inventory management, receiving of materials, packing and scanning of parts and boxes for shipment.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for pulling, sorting and dispensing finished goods for shipment.

· Determine whether finished goods are to be delivered directly to the customer, or to our finished goods warehouse.

· Document and prepare shipping documents in accordance with processes, delivery locations and specifications.

· Prepare and process shipments for UPS, FEDEX for domestic and international shipments.

· Perform ERP transactions for received goods and distribute materials appropriately.

· Work with carriers, vendors and suppliers to load/unload freight and product in a safe manner.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· One to three years of demonstrated knowledge and experience in warehousing operations.

· One to three years of demonstrated knowledge of general shipping and receiving procedures.

· Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse.

· Able to perform data entry and general knowledge of shipping carriers.

CRITICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· Demonstrated organizational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

· Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

· Excellent communication skills both written and oral.

· Excellent problem-solving abilities.

· Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude with all employees.
