Bid/Sales Coordinator
Paradigm Mechanical Corp. is committed to delivering high-quality mechanical services for government, commercial and industrial clients. We are seeking an experienced Bid/Sales Coordinator to join our team and play a critical role in estimating, planning, and executing successful projects.
Role:
· Organize and maintain company bid calendar.
· Organize and maintain all estimating and project plan folders.
· Ensure company bid process is followed by PMs and Estimators. Including tracking bid opportunities, bid deadlines, bid requirements.
· Assist estimators by obtaining subcontractor quotes during bidding.
· Complete bid packages as needed including requesting bid bonds.
· Ensure all bids are reviewed and signed off by management before released.
· Complete prequalification packages and track renewal dates.
· Complete company certification renewals – DBE, SBE, WOSB.
· Research upcoming project and contract opportunities. (Search SAM.gov, AGC Plan Room, other sites, etc.)
· Create proposal packages when required.
· Keep key company resumes up to date. Keep company references, past project detail listing up to date.
· Track performance metrics – bids sent/jobs won.
· Potential growth opportunities in marketing, social media, networking.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 1-5 years of experience in business development, estimating administration, proposal coordination, or a related role in the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills, with experience drafting proposals, reports, and internal documentation.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple departments, ensuring alignment on compliance, risk, safety, and contractual requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM or proposal management software preferred.
