What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Batch Processor position at Paradigm Operating Co, LLC?
The Production Batch Processor inputs scheduled production into lots for manufacturing and prints associated paperwork, reports, and labels. This individual is familiar with order entry and ensures production line reports and labels are accurate, then distributed to the required personnel and departments in a timely manner. This position must be proactive with communication among team members and managers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creates lots for scheduled production shifts as required.
- Releases production lots and transfers production lot data as required.
- Creates files for glass manufacturing and required reports for manufacturing lines.
- Stays informed of current projects, manufacturing workload, and manufacturing processes.
- Prints and sorts production line paperwork and labels with type of order and process dates.
- Actively participates in meetings and training sessions as required.
- Provides assistance to additional projects as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar position is preferred.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing concepts and workflow.
- Must have the ability to learn new tasks quickly.
- Solid understanding of computer basics along with Microsoft Applications.
- Ability to learn batch processing procedures, order processing, and order inquiry.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Must demonstrate the ability to interact with peers, management, and other departments in a professional manner.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work in a loud and fast-paced environment, make good judgments, and assist when necessary.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to work inside, occasionally work protracted or irregular hours; this position will work closely with others in addition to independently.
- Prolonged periods of working either on the computer or in the manufacturing environment.
