Responsibilities
- Phone Management:
- Respond to incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Route calls to the correct staff members or departments.
- Provide essential information to patients regarding our services, procedures, and office hours.
- Address patient inquiries regarding treatment options, post-operative care, and insurance verification.
- Appointment Scheduling:
- Arrange, reschedule, or cancel patient appointments as needed.
- Verify upcoming appointments with patients to minimize no-shows.
- Maintain an organized schedule for the oral surgery team.
- Support emergency appointment requests.
- Insurance Verification & Coordination:
- Assist patients in understanding their benefits and out-of-pocket expenses.
- Address billing inquiries or forward them to the billing department.
- Problem Resolution:
- Address and resolve patient concerns in a timely and empathetic manner.
- Escalate issues to the office manager or oral surgeon when necessary.
- Ensure patients are satisfied with the level of service provided.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of customer service experience required.
