Role and Responsibilities
The Treatment Coordinator plays a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care, achieving best clinical outcomes, and meeting patient needs.
- Provides concierge-level customer service when interacting with patients, referring offices, and team members via phone, in-person, or electronic communication.
- Updates and maintains accurate patient insurance information.
- Maintains the doctor's schedule to optimize use of their time.
- Collaborates with the clinical team to ensure a superior patient experience.
- Adheres to deadlines and prioritizes work according to the patient schedule.
- Collections payments from patients in a professional and effective manner.
- Understands the doctor's treatment recommendations and develops treatment plans based on diagnosis.
- Effectively communicates treatment options and associated costs to patients.
- Maintains confidentiality of all information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- One year of customer service experience is necessary.
- Medical or dental experience is preferred.

- Understanding of dental terminology.
