Clinical Director for Physical Therapy (Home Care)
Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Director for Physical Therapy to lead our home care rehabilitation team. This role involves overseeing clinical operations, managing a large team of physical therapists and assistants, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing patient care delivery. The ideal candidate is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) with strong leadership, organizational, and clinical skills, particularly in home care settings.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership & Team Management : Oversee a team of 200 PTs, PTAs, providing clinical support, mentorship, and leadership. Conduct weekly Zoom meetings to update and support clinicians. Assist with hiring, training, and performance evaluations of clinical staff.
- Patient Care & Clinical Oversight : Ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to evidence-based treatment approaches. Provide hands-on physical therapy treatments, evaluations, and assessments as needed. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patients' rehabilitation goals.
- Compliance & Billing : Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance billing procedures. Review clinical notes for accuracy, completeness, and reimbursement compliance. Stay up to date with state and federal regulations to ensure full legal and ethical compliance.
- Operational & Strategic Development : Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve clinical effectiveness and efficiency. Monitor and improve clinic performance through patient satisfaction, staff development, and operational excellence. Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and administrative teams to optimize patient outcomes. Lead marketing and outreach efforts to grow the clinic’s patient base and reputation in the community.
