Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chiropractor to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal disorders, primarily through manual adjustment and manipulation of the spine. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to develop individualized treatment plans that promote overall health and wellness. We are looking for someone who is willing to grow with us as we expand into our new integrative wellness center we are building. We are looking for a long-term provider to remain a part of our team and work alongside acupuncturists, physical therapists, and massage therapists.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Utilize various chiropractic techniques, including trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and improve function.
- Educate patients on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including exercise, nutrition, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated with advancements in chiropractic practices and medical terminology.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide guidance on occupational health issues related to workplace ergonomics and injury prevention.
Skills
- Proficient in trigger point therapy and pain management techniques.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Experience with medical imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis.
- Ability to create effective care plans based on individual assessments.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
- Understanding of primary care principles as they relate to chiropractic practice.
- Familiarity with occupational health standards and practices is a plus.
- Credentialing with insurance companies is a huge plus.
- Credentialing with the Veterans Affairs (VA) is strongly preferred.
NOTE: This is a brand new clinic we are opening with an anticipated start date of May 1, 2025.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
