What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at Paradigm Windows?
The HR Generalist will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HR Department including recruiting, employee relations and more. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager.
Recruiting:
- Support HR Admin in the recruitment process.
- When needed recruit for exempt/indirect roles.
- Post jobs, screen and interview candidates
- Coordinate and schedule interviews
- Prepare and extend job offers
- Act as a backup for orientation
Employee Relations:
- Guide supervisors and managers on Employee Relations situations. Manage and resolve employee relations situations by conducting thorough investigations and appropriate documentation. Escalates to Human Resources Manager when appropriate.
- Address employee concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring fair and consistent treatment
- Assist in the interpretation and communication of company policies and procedures to employee
- Assists HR Manager with HR Projects and initiatives that enable operations to drive towards existing and future organizational needs.
- Maintain knowledge of critical employment requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, such as FLSA, Federal I-9 and E-Verify, ADAA and company policies.
- Responsible for oversite of all Leaves of Absence from providing appropriate paperwork and tracking.
- Responsible for completing incoming unemployment claims and employment verifications. Escalates to HR Manager as needed.
- Act as a safety champion for the organization, assisting HR Manager in driving safety initiatives such as trainings, workers compensation, case management and more.
- Assist HR Manager in weekly metric reporting
- Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
- 3 Years of Human Resources experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field a plus
- SHRM-CP a plus
