Job Description
The DMV Tech performs a wide range of administrative and office support duties associated with vehicle documentation. This position deals daily with Sales Associates, Sales Managers, F&I Managers, GMs, other office support staff and most importantly, our customers.
Must have experience processing online DMV applications. Must be able to PASS a Business Partner Application and Live Scan
This position’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Handles the legal transfer of documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles
- Submits all (electronic filing) legal transfer work to the DMV
- Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lien holder paid off before processing title applications
- Checks for accuracy in the application
- Ensures that all information is complete
- Processes all wholesale DMV work
- Reports on the status of any missing or problem titles, providing list of outstanding titles as needed
- Perform regular reconciliations of accounting schedule
- Proficient in processing documents necessary to transfer or obtain vehicle titles in and out of State of California
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
