Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of hygiene and presentation. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, fixtures, and equipment using appropriate cleaning agents.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment is a plus.
