Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
- Manage patient records, including medical coding and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and adherence to infection control standards.
- Utilize dental terminology effectively for communication with patients and staff.
- Support the front office with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
- Familiarity with prosthodontics procedures is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing patient records and office tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while providing excellent patient care.
- Understanding of medical coding and medical terminology is beneficial.
- Must be committed to maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
