What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Service Technician/NJ Master Electrician, O&M (Lehigh Valley, PA) position at Paradise Energy Solutions, LLC?
What we’re looking for in a Sr. Service Technician/NJ Master Electrician, O&M:
- Skilled: New Jersey Master Electrician license required. Experience in solar a plus, but not required, and NABCEP certification preferred. Experience troubleshooting electrical systems using DMM, Insulation Resistance Testers, and knowledge or ability to quickly learn special PV test equipment.
- Active: Able to climb ladders, work from a roof, use hand tools, lift up to 75 lbs., and perform the physical work required of independently performing service work on solar systems installed by us or other solar installers.
- Safety Conscious: Use all required PPE, including safety harness. Certified in OSHA 10 and OSHA 30, First Aid & CPR. Driver’s license with a clean or good driving record.
- Team Player: Humble. Excellent communicator. Self-motivated. Hard worker.
- Passionate: Excited about Solar Energy. Desire to continuously learn and build your knowledge and skills with full company support and both online and on-the-job training.
- Knowledgeable: Proficient with web-based software applications and phone-based apps. Ability to provide detailed reporting of findings and repairs completed.
What we offer our Senior Service Technician/NJ Master Electrician:
- $40 - $50 per hour plus, depending on experience
- Travel premium and per diem for meals when traveling overnight, but home on weekends

- Safely perform preventative maintenance, trouble-shooting and repair work on mechanical and electrical equipment related to PV systems, and work with suppliers to handle RMA requests
- Support our PA Branch Ops team for the electrical construction aspects of installed systems
