About the role

We are looking for passionate, community-driven News Reporters to cover Camden County and Northeast Philadelphia . You will play a key role in producing timely, well-researched content that informs and engages local residents. Whether it's government, culture, business, or community events, your stories will bring these areas to life in ways that resonate with our readers.

Please note that you need to be based in Camden County, South Jersey or Northeast Philadelphia .

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Story Development : Identify and report on breaking news, human interest stories, and other key events in the local area.
• Community Engagement : Develop relationships with community leaders, local businesses, and residents to generate story ideas and insights.
• Field Reporting : Attend and report on local events, government meetings, and other relevant activities.
• Content Creation : Write and deliver high-quality, accurate articles on tight deadlines, ensuring clarity and a compelling narrative.
• Collaboration : Work closely with editors and other reporters to shape content strategy and ensure consistent, reliable coverage across the region.
• Research : Conduct thorough research for investigative pieces, adhering to ethical journalistic standards and fact-checking all sources.
