Responsibilities
- Develop and design menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high-quality food preparation.
- Oversee all aspects of food production, including banquet services and dietary department needs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Manage shift operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events and catering services.
- Monitor food presentation and quality to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a fine dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of food service management principles, including menu planning and cost control.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in kitchen operations.
- Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing shifts effectively.
- Background in banquet preparation and large-scale food production is preferred.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is a plus.
