**Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Activity Assistant to join our team in providing engaging and enriching activities for residents in our assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors and creating a supportive environment. **Responsibilities:** - Plan, organize, and lead recreational activities for residents in assisted living, nursing home, memory care, and long-term care settings - Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of the residents - Assist in coordinating events, outings, and programs that promote socialization and physical well-being - Provide emotional support and assistance to residents with aging issues through counseling and companionship - Manage schedules efficiently to ensure timely execution of planned activities **Skills:** - Experience in event planning and organizing recreational activities - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues - Knowledge or background in assisted living, nursing home, memory care, senior care, or caregiving - Proficiency in schedule management to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously - Ability to provide emotional support and counseling related to aging issues Join our team as an Activity Assistant and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents through engaging activities and compassionate care.
