Job Description:
As a Live-In Caregiver, you will play a vital role in the lives of our residents by providing essential care, support, and companionship. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide attentive and personalized care to residents, assisting with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and mobility.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals for residents while accommodating dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents, including light housekeeping duties.
- Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed and ensure residents follow their medication schedules.
- Companionship: Foster a warm and friendly atmosphere, engaging with residents through conversation and activities.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of daily care activities, resident observations, and any changes in their condition.
Qualifications:
- Mature and responsible individual with a genuine passion for caregiving.
- Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required.
- Willingness to undergo free Certified Medication Technician (CMT) training if not already certified.
- The ability to live on site /on premise 5 days a week .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion and empathy for the elderly and those in need of care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
