We are seeking dedicated and responsible individuals to help ensure the safe and efficient operation of our pool facilities. As a lifeguard, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure and enjoyable environment for all patrons while upholding our policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain constant surveillance of pool areas to ensure guest safety, responding swiftly and appropriately to emergencies.
- Provide first aid and emergency care until professional medical services arrive.
- Uphold a professional attitude, appearance, and a high standard of customer service at all times.
- Perform daily pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning, sanitizing, and chemical testing (if certified as a pool operator).
- Assist with janitorial duties, such as maintaining clean restrooms and ensuring overall facility cleanliness.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports related to daily operations and incidents.
- Enforce facility policies and procedures to promote a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
- Proficiency in lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques.
- Ability to swim and perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders and lifting heavy objects.
- Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures.
- A team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
Requirements:
- Valid Lifeguard Training Certification, CPR & First Aid Certification (required by start date).
Don’t have your certification yet? No problem! We offer lifeguard training classes to help you get certified.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Work Conditions:
- Physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and working with pool chemicals (for pool operators only).
- Extended hours in outdoor environments.
