Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data center operations and network installation. This role involves working with various technologies, including low voltage systems, and LAN setups. The Data Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data services and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network systems, including Cat5 cabling and other low voltage installations.
- Operate power tools safely and effectively for installation tasks.
- Collaborate with team members on project updates and requirements.
- Resolving technical issues promptly.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of Data systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while working in data center environments.
- Document all installation processes and maintenance activities accurately for future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data center operations or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with network installation practices, including knowledge of Data systems.
- Understanding of low voltage wiring and installation techniques.
- Experience working with power tools and handling equipment safely.
- Knowledge of LAN configurations and troubleshooting methods is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
