What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Desktop Support Technician position at Paragon Development Systems?
The Nitty Gritty:
- Full-time, Contract through end of 2025
- 1st shift hours
- Location - Onsite in Red Wing
Qualified candidates must have 1 year of work experience in IT along with a High School Diploma OR an Associates Degree or greater in an IT related field.
This position is working on a lifecycle project, upgrading and installing new hardware in various workstations throughout the facility.
- You will provide installation, configuration, and/or break/fix support as requested.
- Provide accurate, timely and creative solutions to customer computer and networking problems
- Interact effectively with network services, application support teams, server administration and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem.
- Manage parts and inventory on hand to maintain appropriate stocking levels.
- Complete documentation on daily basis to maintain service, configuration, and/or installation history.
Knowledge of Windows 10, printer installation and set-up is required.
This is a long term contract through the end of the year.
