Temporary Full Time Engineering Technician IV

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Tech IV for a full-time temporary position, expected to end in September 2025. Secret clearance required (can be obtained after starting).

Job Overview:

As an Engineering Tech IV, you'll be working with a variety of tools and equipment, ensuring quality assembly and integration of tactical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble components using hand and power tools based on engineering drawings
• Analyze and optimize procedures for improved program efficiency
• Load/unload large equipment and pallets
• Lead and train small teams, reporting to the program manager and government task lead
• Integrate, modify, and install system components
• Conduct basic operational tests and wire systems according to schematics
• Build cable assemblies that meet 620 compliance standards
• Develop Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for equipment upgrades
• Manage inventory and report status to the project team

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in a related field 4 years of experience OR High School Diploma 8 years of experience
• Must be able to obtain Secret clearance (not required to start)
• U.S. Citizenship is a must
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings & wiring diagrams
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical assemblies
• Experience with hand tools and power tools
• Basic knowledge of cable building (620 certified)
• Soldering skills required
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Strong problem-solving and research skills
• Familiar with technical documentation and standards for tactical systems

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: From $28.11 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
