Requirements and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or higher
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of employment
- 5 years' experience in forensics
- Ability to handle high-case loads and meet tight deadlines
- Effective time management and leadership skills
- Strong reading comprehension, written and verbal communication skills, and command of the English language
- Competency using basic tools and equipment (e.g., camera, tape measure, level)
- Competency using a PC with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Background and DMV check
Prior experience working in building and safety, familiarity with building codes and regulations, and knowledge of construction and maintenance of various materials are desirable but not essential.
