Warehouse Supervisor

Description

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Paragon’s main and secondary warehouse, including receiving incoming materials, managing inventory levels, coordinating outbound shipments, ensuring proper storage, and maintaining a safe working environment, while prioritizing efficiency and accuracy to support production needs; requiring strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage warehouse staff and optimize operational processes.

• Oversee the receiving, inspection, and storage of incoming raw materials and components.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock for production needs and prevent overstocking.
• Manage cycle counting and kitting operational procedures to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Coordinate with production planning to anticipate and address inventory fluctuations.
• Supervise warehouse staff including pickers, packers, cycle counters and forklift operators.
• Assign tasks and manage daily workflow to meet production schedules and shipping deadlines.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a clean working environment.  
• Generate reports on inventory levels, warehouse performance metrics, and shipping activity.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to enhance efficiency.
• Train and develop warehouse staff on proper procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Provide performance feedback and coaching to employees.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.

-Previous experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
