We are currently seeking an experienced Clean Room Packaging Technician to join our growing team. The position will be based out of Las Vegas, Nevada, where our Packaging, Distribution, Marketing and Education departments are located.
Compensation / Pay Range: $16.00 - $19.00 (Candidates must match all criteria to be considered for the high end of the compensation pay range.)
Responsibilities: Package and assemble product in a Clean Room environment.
Qualifications:
- Package and/or assemble product or components in accordance with specifications, blueprints, standards, and company policies/procedures.
- Responsible for the setup and operation of packaging machines that clean, fill, and secure products according to SOP.
- Review work orders and packing specifications.
- Identify materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions and set up issues.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, including batch numbers, materials used, and any deviations from standard procedures, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspection/visuals to verify accuracy, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies promptly.
- Adhere to all safety procedures.
- Preform other related duties as assigned.
Education: High School diploma or GED
- Minimum one year working in a manufacturing, packaging, assembly, distribution center, or Clean Room environment.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow general procedures, work instructions and the ability to document accurately.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
- Communicate effectively to internal and external customers.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and/or oral instructions.
- Basic computer skills and data entry.
- Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to coordinate activities and ensure seamless integration with manufacturing processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Adhere strictly to Clean Room protocols, including gowning requirements and cleanliness standards, to prevent contamination of labeled items.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus and accuracy in a controlled environment.
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of ISO17025.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
Physical Abilities:
- Ability to wear Clean Room coverall/suit, gloves, hair net, and/or face cover for long periods of time.
- Frequently use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects.
- Frequently sit, stand (for long periods of time), walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear and will occasionally be required to bend, stoop, kneel and climb stairs.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on occasion.
