What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machine Operator position at Paragon Implants MFG LLC?
Operate CNC Swiss lathe machines and automatic bar-feeders following operational procedures and guidelines. Perform consistent visual inspections on product and equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform routine operation of assigned machine(s), including start-up and shutdown following procedures and guidelines. Load raw material into bar feeder and adjust to the machine.
Keep machine running throughout shift while monitoring product quality through regular inspection intervals.
Perform consistent visuals underneath the microscope and continuously inspect machines on various equipment.
Troubleshoot and correct minor problems, obtaining assistance from Lead Set-Up Machinists and Management when needed.
Replace assigned, worn-out, or broken tools (i.e., drills, broaches, etc.) as needed.
Ensure all documentation is in order (part number, revision, etc.) and is kept at the workstation. Enter data on production documents regarding quantity produced, etc.
Adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (i.e., safety glasses, non-slip shoes, etc.).
Perform general housekeeping in work areas (cleaning surfaces and machines, oil spills, etc.).
EDUCATION:
Required: High School diploma or GED. Preferred: College-level machining classes and formal CNC training preferred.
EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES:
- Minimum three (3) years’ related experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and CAD designs.
- Familiarity with raw materials, cutting tool geometry, and related feeds and speeds.
- Support team environment.
Preferred: Good working experience with precision inspection equipment and methods (micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, Keyence, Seebrez, etc.).

- On-Site, no remote work.
7:00 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.
8 hours per day
