We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Inspection Technician to join our growing team.
The position will be based out of Las Vegas, Nevada, where our Packaging, Distribution, Marketing and Education departments are located.
7:00 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. with a 30-minute meal period.
Job Summary: Performs Quality Assurance inspections for finished goods. Works under moderate supervision with independent judgement.
- Perform semi-complex visual inspection for critical features, based on blueprint/drawing specifications during Clean Room assembly, capping, and packaging stages.
- Perform semi-complex visual inspections on labels, based on blueprint/drawing specifications, in a Clean Room environment.
- Accurately document data on job orders for traceability purposes.
- Crosstrain to learn, and perform, simple to complex mechanical / dimensional inspections for first article, in-process, and final inspections per blueprints and/or other written specifications using designated inspection equipment such as optical computerized numerically controlled measuring systems.
- Monitor the operation of inspection equipment to ensure proper operation and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance concerns. Adjust machine controls accordingly and verify accuracy of settings.
- Follow inspection instructions/routines for inspection equipment.
- Accurately record observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
- Assist with safety compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Required: High School diploma or GED.
Preferred: Some college or technical training.
Experience & Competencies:
Required:
- Minimum 3 year of visual inspection of products.
- Decipher quality of application of labels. Verify 2D matrix quality.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow general inspection procedures, work instructions and the ability to document inspection entries accurately.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
- Communicate effectively to internal and external customers.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and/or oral instructions.
- Microsoft Office suite: SharePoint, One Drive, Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook.
- Data entry into ERP system or database.
Preferred:
- Minimum one year Quality Assurance (Control) mechanical inspection experience, or a combination of education/certification and/or experience.
- Experience with calibration of equipment.
- Experience with ANSI Y14.5 Geometric Tolerance.
- Experience with ANSI/NCSL Z540.3.
- Working knowledge of ISO-17025.
- Working knowledge ISO -13485 or 9001
- Basic experience working with a statistical process control (SPC) program.
- Complex First article inspection experience is a plus.

- Frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear and will occasionally be required to bend, stoop, kneel and climb stairs.
