Paragon IT Professionals is seeking a Data Analyst for a long term contract role. This role is a hybrid role and must be onsite 2-3 days a week at the office in Des Moines, Iowa.
This is a 12 month contract role (possibility of extension).
**This is an entry level to mid level position**
The Data Analyst will work with lead Data Modeler and business unit resources to create and maintain data models for data being ingested into modernized data solutions. Will also be responsible for analyzing usage of data being modelled and documenting any needed transformations. They are taking data from various systems and moving it to cloud
DETAILS:
- Needs to be technically minded with ability to read through logic and code
- Must have the ability to read and write SQL code
- This is a combination of Data Analysis and Business Analysis
- Must be able to bridge gap between the business units and get consistent terminology across all units.
- Must be able to build rapport with business units and help break down the technology for them into something they can understand.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Nice to have knowledge of company business unit products preferred, including plan design, stakeholders, financial metrics, and investment knowledge.
Must be in local to the Des Moines area and able to go onsite 2-3 days a week.
