Paragon IT Professionals is seeking a qualified Operations Analyst to work on a hybrid role at our client site in Des Moines, Iowa. (2nd shift)
The Operations Analyst (Solutions Analyst) will assist informally leading the shift, ensuring the team is monitoring and supporting the infrastructure (network and mainframe) via software tools to meet business partners' goals. This team provides timely support and assistance of problem determination by quickly identifying, analyzing, and reporting on all relevant issues.
The hours for this role are 4pm - 12am Wednesday through Sunday.
Monday and Tuesday are days off.

What the job entails :
- Thorough investigation, documentation of issues, fix, collaboration with partners and all team members and leadership; appropriate documentation and critical issue, as needed
- Assist in ensuring daily operational work is handled in a timely and accurate manner. Provide feedback or ideas for success, as needed
- Be proficient in all forms of communication and keep tickets / tools / chats current and accurate
- Collect, organize, analyze, and interpret data in multiple areas of expertise
- Be a technical liaison between various technical teams in optimizing user experience for the tools used.
- Follow through on outstanding and ongoing issues to help maintain a level of ‘ownership’ and quality of tickets / issues
- Assist in driving strategic initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement to improve service aligned to strategy
- Be an Incident Coordinator, using ITSM methodologies
