Logistics Team Support Specialist

our Logistics Team Support role. In this position, you’ll be the go-to person for ensuring
our jobs run smoothly—before, during, and after. You’ll connect with customers,
coordinate hotels for our crews, support scheduling and reporting processes, and help
keep everything moving behind the scenes. You won’t just be checking boxes—you’ll be
contributing to a highly efficient, people-first operation that supports farms across the
region.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who’s organized, dependable, and eager to support a fast-
moving team. Bonus points if you have experience in agriculture, logistics, or customer
service!
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Be the First Voice Customers Hear:
• Call customers before every job to confirm important details.
• Send email or mail confirmations when needed.
• Build trust with clear, professional communication.
• Follow Up and Follow Through:
• Check in with customers after jobs are completed.
• Pass along any compliments, concerns, or feedback to leadership.
• Support the Team Behind the Scenes:
• Work with our scheduling team to track bird counts and assign job numbers using
internal systems.• Print and distribute weekly crew schedules to help keep everyone aligned.
• Make Travel Seamless:
• Coordinate hotel accommodations for traveling crews.
• Build relationships with frequently used hotels and negotiate rates.
• Ensure crew leaders and drivers know exactly where they’re staying and what to
expect.
• Create and Share Daily Reports:
• Collect job data and prepare pullet reports for internal use and billing.
• Communicate with foremen, drivers, and schedulers to make sure everything is
accurate.
• Pitch In Wherever Needed:
• Assist the scheduling team with additional projects and logistics tasks as they
come up.
Required:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
• Excellent time management and attention to detail
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and adjust to last-minute changes
• A positive attitude and team-first mindset
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Logistics, or related field
• Previous experience in dispatching, coordination, or scheduling roles
• Familiarity with scheduling or CRM system

Location: Mount Joy, PA (In-Person)
Hours: Monday-Friday (8:00AM to 5:00PM)
Report to: Director of Logistics
