The Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced On-Site Construction Safety Manager to join our team at Paragon Safety Group. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the safety of our projects in De Soto, KS.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the activities of a large on-site safety team.
- Carry out thorough site safety audits and prepare detailed reports.
- Guarantee that all workers comply with rigorous safety standards and adhere to OSHA regulations.
- Offer expert guidance and mentorship to employees on safe work practices and industry best practices.
- Closely collaborate with contractors and project stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation of safety procedures.
- Conduct meticulous investigations into any safety incidents, document findings, and implement corrective measures when necessary.
- Deliver customized safety orientations to new team members as needed.
- Act as an advocate for the client's interests regarding all health and safety matters on-site.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years of experience in managing on-site safety teams.
- A minimum of five years of experience in construction safety (mandatory).
- A current OSHA 500/502 certification (essential).
- Superior leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Possession of CHST, ASP, or CSP certification (desired).
