Job Overview
We are seeking for an aviation parts painter with morning availability (1st Shift, Mon-Fri). Starting pay will be determined by experience. Experience in aviation paint spray application not required but is a plus. As an aviation painter, you will be responsible for applying coatings to aluminum aircraft parts, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet industry standards. Must pass company paid drug screening and respirator physical. Some standing, bending, lifting and pushing is required. Must be able to lift more than 20lbs. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Prepare and inspect aviation components for painting, ensuring surfaces are clean and primed.
- Utilize industrial painting techniques to apply coatings accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to safety standards and quality control measures throughout the painting process.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with various painting techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as schematics.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for long periods and lifting materials as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
