Role Summary:
As the Wound Care Liaison, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers, referral sources, and patients. You will serve as the face of Paragon Wound Care in the community, ensuring timely referrals and connecting patients to care within 24 hours of an accepted referral.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture relationships with healthcare providers, including physicians, hospitals, home health agencies, and nursing facilities.
- Educate referral sources on Paragon Wound Care services and our commitment to timely care.
- Act as the primary contact for new referrals, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between providers, patients, and clinical staff.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of our accepted insurance plans and assist patients with understanding coverage options.
- Collaborate with the Director of Business Development and Director of Clinical Operations to identify growth opportunities and improve service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare, sales, or a related field (experience in wound care preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Knowledge of local healthcare systems and referral processes is a plus.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
