We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Agriculture Application Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for agriculture, technology, and sales. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling agricultural applications, software solutions, and services to farmers, agricultural companies, and other stakeholders in the agriculture industry. Your goal will be to drive sales, build strong relationships with customers, and help them adopt the best technology solutions for their farming needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities in the agriculture sector.
- Manage and grow existing client accounts by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Achieve sales targets and objectives by effectively selling agriculture applications, software, and technology solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the agriculture industry.
- Customer Needs Assessment:
- Conduct in-depth needs assessments with clients to understand their specific challenges and provide appropriate solutions.
- Advise clients on how to use agricultural technology to improve efficiency, yield, and profitability.
- Product Knowledge & Expertise:
- Stay up-to-date on the latest agricultural applications and technological advancements in the industry.
- Offer expert guidance on the use of various agricultural software, sensors, automation tools, and data analytics platforms.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers as needed.
- Sales Strategy & Marketing:
- Work with the marketing team to create targeted sales campaigns and promotional materials.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to showcase products and network with potential clients.
- Provide market feedback and insights to help improve product offerings.
- Contract Negotiation & Closing:
- Prepare and deliver formal proposals and contracts for clients.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and agreements to close sales successfully.
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process and post-sales implementation.
- Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with the customer support and technical teams to ensure smooth product implementation and customer satisfaction.
- Report on sales activities, pipeline status, and customer feedback to management.
- Meet and exceed sales KPIs and quotas.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Sales, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in agricultural sales, technology sales, or a similar field is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural technology, including software, applications, and modern farming solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving industry.
- Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend events.
Desired Skills:
