What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welding MIG/TIG position at Parallel Employment Group?
Job summary : Weld metal components from machined parts or steel stock for dock boards and service parts with electric welding equipment - as specified by layout, welding diagram, or work order. Will use Miller welding machine.

Shift availability : 1st shift
Job responsibilities :
- Position parts in jigs or fixtures on bench or floor; or clamp parts together along layout marks.
- Obtain specified electrode and insert into portable holder or thread consumable electrode wire through portable welding gun.
- Connect cables from welding unit to obtain amperage, voltage slope and pulse, as specified.
- Start power supply to produce electric current.
