Parallel Employment Group is looking for a dedicated Crate Builder to join our team in the manufacturing sector. As a Crate Builder, you will be responsible for constructing wooden crates to package products for shipping and storage. Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut wood material according to specifications
- Assemble wooden crates using hand tools and power tools
- Inspect finished crates for quality and compliance with standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times
1st Shift: 7:00 AM -3:30 PM M-F
Pay Rate: This position is for 1st shift with a competitive pay rate based on experience. $19-21
Job Location: Racine, WI
Job Type: Longterm Temp
Requirements:
- Previous experience in crate building or woodworking is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
