Electrical Assembly/ Welding/ Painting

This job posting includes several roles available for one of our clients located in West Milwaukee role.

Fabrication:

• Fabricate and assemble framework and build items, large and small, including steel and aluminum structures
• Read and interpret blueprints and sketches
• Assemble tools and materials
• Position parts and subassemblies

Electric Assembly:

• Possess knowledge of complex electrical system installation and/or overhaul of major equipment
• Have experience with technical drawings and schematics
• Are familiar with conduit bending and thick gauge wire pulling
• Have good interpersonal skills and can function as a team member in a manufacturing environment

Welding:

• Welding I-Beam Frame and Fuel Tanks in flat/vertical overhead positions
• The sheet metal thickness will range from 10 gauge up to ½ inch
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding
• Position and secure workpieces, using hoists, cranes, wire and banding machines or hand tools

Painting:

• Paint Prep - Taping off parts to be painted
• Sanding painted parts
• Sanding – sanding and/or prepping steel/aluminum for the build process
• Shop cleaning – general cleaning and emptying of trash bins

• Prior experience in a related field
• Knowledge of techniques and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Proficient in using fabrication tools and machinery
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and in a team
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
