At Parallel Fluidics, we are building the infrastructure to power the next generation of life science tools. As a CNC Operator, you will play a pivotal role in fabricating microfluidic devices and precision components using our state-of-the-art CNC machining centers and custom-built automation equipment. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities:
• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC 3-axis and 5axis CNC machines to produce precision parts.
• Program and modify CNC equipment using CAD/CAM software to meet design specifications.
• Inspect components against technical drawings and quality standards using measurement tools.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure seamless workflow and troubleshoot machining challenges.
• Record and analyze data to ensure consistency and adherence to production standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of CNC operations, observations, and improvements.
• Contribute to team meetings, presenting progress and solutions for ongoing projects.
Qualifications
Required:
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, MasterCAM, or Fusion 360).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Preferred:
• Experience working in a clean room environment.
• Experience with molding and forming techniques.
