Job Title: Director of Digital Communications and Marketing
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer
Position Overview: The Director of Digital Communications and Marketing will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and measuring all digital communications and marketing strategies, marketing communications, and digital public relations activities, both internal and external. This includes directing the efforts of the digital communications and marketing staff as well as coordinating all organizational digital communications and marketing needs.
Position responsibilities and duties:
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital communications and marketing strategies to align with the overall PVA communications and marketing strategy.
- Plan and execute digital campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, website, and search engine marketing.
- Oversee the creation and management of engaging and effective digital content, including website copy, social media posts, email, newsletters, etc.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns.
- Collaborate with other departments, including all programs, to ensure brand alignment and synergy across the entire organization.
- Develop the annual Digital Communications and Marketing Budget in Coordination with other Communications and Marketing Leaders.
- Work closely with the Program leads to maximize the digital amplification of PVA organizational efforts.
- Develop and implement a rolling 3-year calendar of key branding initiatives.
- Continually look to adopt emerging technologies, digital innovations, new platforms, and systems to optimize digital communications strategies and effectiveness.
- Any other duties or projects assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Master's Degree in Related Field Preferred
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Digital Communications and Marketing, Digital Agency, or Fortune 500 Digital Communications and Marketing experience strongly preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of people management experience.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of SEO, PPC, and other digital marketing strategies
- Experience in crisis communication and reputation management
- Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills
- Travel approximately 10-20% of the time
